JUNIOR to PARTNER level positions are available.

These positions cover the full spectrum of opportunities within a Major Projects practice group. Industry sectors would include (but are not limited to):

Oil & Gas
Energy
Mining
Construction
Infrastructure

Lawyers with experience in any of these fields are welcome to apply and your background could be focused on either of these two facets:

Project Finance
Commercial Contracts

Either experience is required and would be of potential value to our clients.

The law firms we represent are all top tier international firms with global networks of offices. As such you will need to be a high calibre individual with a good degree from a respected University.

スキル・資格

Candidates must have experience, preferrably gained within a law firm, in drafting and negotiating documents for projects transactions and experience in closing transactions. Alternatively, experience in general financing and/or general corporate matters will also be considered.

Candidates based outside of Japan will be considered for this position and moving expenses to Japan may be covered. Candidates should have a sincere interest in developing a long-term career in Japan.

Candidates qualified as a lawyer in the US or UK would be preferred., however candidates admitted in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong will also be considered.

Our Corporate Division services both domestic and international companies sourcing qualified lawyers (both local and overseas admitted) at all levels from Legal Counsels through to Regional General Counsels, corporate compliance officers, company secretaries and commercial/contract managers.

Our Banking & Finance Division services the full financial services industry from bulge bracket investment banks to retail banks and fund managers and is responsible for the recruitment of financial services executives, lawyers (both local and overseas admitted) at all levels from Legal Counsels through to Regional General Counsels, compliance officers at all levels from junior compliance officers up to Regional Heads of Compliance, also documentation officers, paralegals and mid-office personnel positions.
