募集要項

The client is seeking a Senior Tax Manager based in Tokyo. This position is responsible for providing in-house tax consulting related to the implementation of various business initiatives, including liaison with the various business teams and departments in Japan and the U.S.

In addition, the position is responsible for overseeing both corporate income tax and consumption tax compliance, ensuring the timely filing of all Japanese tax returns. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality.

This is primarily a tax planning position; therefore, 70 to 80 percent of the Senior Tax Manager’s time will be devoted to the providing internal advice.

In addition, 20 to 30 percent of their time will be devoted to compliance and financial reporting projects.

Degree in law or accounting - chartered/licensed accountant (or equivalent) or graduate degree in taxation preferred
