Tier One Global Investment Bank is looking for a contract candidate to join a team that is responsible for developing short term projects, supporting business users and ensuring the smooth running of production systems across the APAC region.

You will be working in the production environment for business applications mainly across middle and back office developing financial applications - gathering requirements, handling system issues, answering user queries and supporting applications. This involves interacting with the business users (including sales and traders) and IT groups across the region and globally to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
You should have Hands-on working experience on supporting large scale financial application in a global investment banking environment and Knowledge of escalation procedures.
Although is a contract, it is a direct hire by the Bank, NOT by agencies or IT consulting firm so there is a potential to be extended or transfer to permanent status depending on how good the candidate performs and where the projects are headed after one year.
